NOIDA: Durga Puja celebrations are in full flow in Noida and Greater Noida. Decorated pandals are being blended with cultural programmes of all hues to offer visitors a wholesome package.
NOIDA: Commuters using the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will soon be allowed a free U-turn under Mahamaya Flyover. The Noida Authority says work will begin soon and the project should be in about six months. Those travelling from Delhi and Faridabad via Kalindi Kunj towards sectors 95, 96, 125, 126, 127, 128, etc on the e-way will benefit. Besides the U-turn, the Authority officials are thinking of reviving a two-lane defunct road along the Shahdara irrigation drain for smooth flow of traffic towards the e-way.
In a welcome move for residents of Ghaziabad, the Uttar Pradesh government has given its nod for plying of radio taxis in the city.
Residents of Noida and Greater Noida, however, would have to wait till they get a chance to hop on to radio cabs.
