New Lane on DND Flyway
NOIDA: To ensure a smooth and congestion-free ride for commuters on DND Flyway, the operator has added another lane for four wheelers at the toll plaza on the Noida-Delhi carriageway. With the total number of lanes now going up to 32, DND toll plaza has become the biggest in the country.
Honda Commences Production of Mobilio MPV in India
Japanese carmaker Honda Motor has reportedly started the production of its new Mobilio multi purpose vehicle (MPV) at its facility in Greater Noida, India.
Honda Mobilio, which is based on the company’s Brio and Amaze platforms is expected to be made available in petrol and diesel engine options.
The vehicle is powered by the 1.5L iVTEC engine offering an output of 118PS at 6600 rpm and 146Nm torque in petrol edition, while the diesel version comes with 1.5L iDTEC producing 100PS and 200Nm.
India’s National Basketball Teams Practice in Greater Noida: Catching up with Coaches & Players
Since April 15, India’s Senior Men’s Basketball team probables have been at training camp at the Jaypee Greens Integrated Sports Center in Greater Noida with Head Coach Scott Flemming. A week later – on April 22 – the women’s senior team joined in too, led by Head Coach Francisco Garcia. This was the first time that India’s national squads were using this facility. But these camps aren’t just to give our players and our coaches a cushy spot to shoot hoops; there is serious business in progress here, the business to prepare the national squads for a busy calender of basketball ahead.
Greater Noida to get 12 new power substations
NOIDA: The Greater Noida electricity distribution utility, Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL), has begun a project to build 12 substations in different parts of the city. These substations will have a capacity of 33/11kV each and will be commissioned within two years.

Greater Noida: A sewage treatment plant for Noida was today inaugurated by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, enabling the city to treat 100 per cent sewage it produces. Yadav inaugurated projects worth Rs 3,337 crore for Noida and Greater Noida via video conferencing from Lucknow.
