Underpass, Flyover, Metro in Noida’s First 3-Level Crossing
NOIDA: In a first for Noida, an underpass, elevated road and a Metro track will be constructed one above the other to de-congest one of the busiest crossings of the city, where sectors 51, 52 and 71, 72 meet.
Gr Noida E-Way to Get New FOBs
NOIDA: The Noida Authority has proposed to build four foot over bridges (FOB) on the Noida-Greater Noida expressway in a bid to improve pedestrian safety on the high speed road. There is currently only one FOB along the 24km-long expressway.
ICPB to Organise Convention India Conclave on August 8 & 9 in Greater Noida
India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB), a public-private organisation under the Ministry of Tourism (MoT) entrusted to promote India as a convention destination, will conduct their eighth Convention India Conclave on August 8 and 9, 2015 at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. The last conclave was held at the same venue in August, 2012.

UP CM Announces ‘One City, One Ticket’ For Noida, Lucknow
Lucknow, April 25 (IANS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday announced a ‘One City, One Ticket’ facility for Lucknow and Noida cities. Under this scheme, a passenger can avail of Metro rail, city bus and other transport facilities with just a single ticket.
Elevated Road Plan Revised to Evade Metro Route
NOIDA: A revised detailed project report of a proposed 6km elevated road on the Dadri-Surajur-Chalera (DSC) will be finalized next month.
The foundation for the project was laid by UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on May 21, 2013. Hanging fire for nearly two years, officials said that once the DPR is finalized it will be sent to IIT-Delhi for vetting.

RWA Body Writes to Akhilesh, Kejriwal For Toll-Free DND
NOIDA: The Confederation Of NCR Residents’ Welfare Associations (CONRWA) has written to the chief ministers of UP and Delhi, demanding immediate removal of the toll at the DND Flyway connecting Delhi to Noida and beyond. In their letter, CONRWA members said the commissionaire, Noida Toll Bridge Company Ltd (NTBCL), has already recovered the money they had used to build the Flyway, which came up in 2001.
